На станции Старица прошел Урок Мужества, посвященный боевым действиям в Афганистане

35 лет назад, 15 февраля последняя колонна советских войск покинула территорию Афганистана. Закончилась война, которая длилась в два раза дольше, чем Великая Отечественная.

В память о героическом подвиге наших военных в Афганистане в Станционном Доме культуры прошел Урок Мужества для учащихся 6 и 7 классов Станционной школы. Мероприятие было подготовлено совместно работниками Дома культуры и сельской библиотеки.

Дети узнали подробности той войны, услышали имена наших земляков, которые несли службу в Афганистане в те годы, посмотрели видеоролик о выводе Советских войн из Афганистана. Школьники, прослушав отрывки из писем солдат, которые погибли на суровой афганской земле,смогли понять, что чувствовали и чего ждали тогда сами солдаты.

Человеческая жизнь недолговечна, а неумолимое время стирает память событиях тех лет. Но мы должны помнить воинов, которые погибли, выполняя интернациональный долг на той земле. Участники почтили память погибших в Афганистане Минутой молчания.
